What are sessions like?

Our sessions will be grounded in client-centered modalities that are tailored towards your needs. I use an integrative approach that includes aspects of mindfulness, person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and internal family systems. When dealing with trauma-related issues, I will incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) that can effectively provide the healing you need. When working with parents, I will utilize Child Parent Relationship Therapy, which helps them learn how to hear and be with their children in ways that foster a stronger relationship.

How long do I need to be in therapy?

The amount of sessions can vary based on your therapeutic needs. Following the initial assessment session, we can determine what your needs are and together discover how best to meet them in and outside of therapy.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I am currently accepting Blue Cross & Blue Shield insurance. If you are not In Network with BCBS, I can provide a Superbill for possible partial or full reimbursement from your insurance provider. I encourage you to check with your provider regarding reimbursement. I do accept HSA/FSA cards.

How much does it cost?

My self-pay rate is comparable to other therapist with similar experience and background. My session rate for an individual session is $155. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone and have reserved spots for sliding scale.

What resources would you recommend?

Being that everyone is different, what resources might be beneficial to some may not work with others. I generally wait to see what your therapeutic needs are and tailor resources based on that.
